Gallstones are a problem much more prevalent than the medical profession realizes. They are produced in the bile ducts of the liver. Gallstones plug up these ducts, causing the bile to backup under pressure, which produces symptoms that are often misdiagnosed as other problems such as heart attacks, pleurisy, or pericarditis.

Some of the most common symptoms of gallstones are as follows.

  • Pain in the upper abdomen that increases rapidly and lasts from 15 minutes to several hours.
  • Pulsing pain in the chest and throat, which may increase when you inhale and decrease when you exhale. This pain can also increase when you lie down.
  • Pain between the shoulder blades
  • Pain in either shoulder or upper arm

These pains may often occur after eating fatty foods

Other symptoms may include

  • Rapid or heavy pulse
  • Shortness of breath
  • Clay-colored stools, which show a lack of bile in the digestive system
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Abdominal bloating
  • Belching
  • Gas
  • Chills or fever
  • Yellowish color of the skin or whites of the eyes

Doctors check for gallstone with ultrasound and x-rays, but unfortunately they do not show up on these tests until they are calcified and hard. A liver can be full of hundreds of soft gallstones and these tests will not reveal them-until they have moved into the gallbladder and hardened. The best way to diagnose them yourself is to be aware of the symptoms listed above.

Usual Treatment

Usually, doctors prescribe surgery for removal of the gallbladder. This may temporarily relieve the symptoms, but does little to help the liver, which continues to function inadequately. The release of bile is necessary for proper digestion. Sometimes a shock-wave is used to break up the stones. But again, this only works on hard stones. Stones can also be dissolved with drugs, but this can take years to work.

Best Treatment

The fastest, safest, cheapest, and most effective treatment is a Liver Flush, performed at home by one's self. In her amazing book The Cure For All Diseases, Dr. Hulda Clark gives precise directions on how to do this, using common household items; Epsom Salts and olive oil. The Epsom Salts serve two purposes; relax the bile ducts and cause diarrhea. The olive oil causes the liver to release the bile and flush out the gallstones.

Parasite Removal First

Dr. Clark warns that if one has gallstones that they also have parasites in the liver that need to be removed first-or the liver cleanse will not work, and may cause pain as the bile tries to release, and fails. These parasites are called Liver Flukes. They are large flat worms, from 1/2" to 1" long that attach themselves to the bile ducts in the liver with their mouths. They cannot be removed without killing them first. These flukes cause the bile in the ducts to become stagnant, and thus allow the gallstones to form from the bile coating loose cholesterol particles that the liver would ordinarily pass.

The flukes can be killed two ways.

  1. Using an herbal formula containing black walnut hull tincture and wormwood. This is a vile tasting concoction and takes several weeks of treatment to kill the parasites.
  2. Using a Parasite Zapper. Dr. Clark invented the first Parasite Zapper, and made the plans available free for all to use. She even gives instructions in her book on how to build one, using a shoe box and electrical components. It's not hard to build if one understands a little about electronics, but it is large and cumbersome.

The Micro-Zapper ™ is the smallest, most convenient, and inexpensive *complete* Parasite Zapper on the market, (Meaning that it is inside a case, with a switch and an on-light). It is barely bigger than the nine volt battery that powers it. It is based on the Clark design, but uses miniaturized components and circuit board. Using the EKG electrodes that are provided with it-placing them on the upper arms, out of sight under your shirt sleeves-one can place the unit in a shirt pocket and go about their lives while zapping the parasites.

Other makes require that you sit in a chair for an hour, hold large electrodes in your hands, and time your sessions. That is seven minutes on, twenty minutes off, seven on, twenty off, and another seven minutes on. Some makes sell optional wrist band electrodes, but that is almost like wearing handcuffs.

Liver Cleanse

This liver cleanse is also based on one that is described by Dr. Clark. It takes one day of preparation and another day to complete. The first day concerns the diet, and preparation.

First Day:

  • Take no medication that you can safely do without.
  • Eat no fatty foods all day. This is because fat releases the bile in the ducts and you want to store up as much bile as possible through the day. You can eat fruit, cereal with no milk, dry toast or bread without butter, but you can use preserves or honey, baked potato or other vegetables with salt only. (I also eat crackers and drink fruit juice.) Do not eat after 2:PM,
  • At 6:00 PM drink 3/4 cup of cold water with one tablespoon of Epsom Salts.
  • At 8:00 PM drink 3/4 cup of cold water with one tablespoon of Epsom Salts.
  • At 9:45 PM make a last visit to the bathroom and try for a bowel movement.
  • At 10:00 PM drink a solution of olive oil and fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice that you should prepare earlier. Put 4 ounces of light olive oil with the juice from one large pink grapefruit in a pint jar, put lid on, and shake vigorously. This emulsifies the olive oil and makes it easier to drink. It is also recommended that you take four ornithine capsules to help you sleep.
  • Immediately after drinking the solution lie down on your back with head elevated a bit. Do not move for twenty minutes if you can help it at all. You may feel the gallstones begin to move out of the liver. If not, don't worry about it. Now try to sleep until 6:00AM. You may need to set an alarm

Next Day:

  • At 6:00AM take another dose of Epsom Salts. You can go back to bed if you like.
  • At 8:00AM take another dose of Epsom Salts. You can go back to bed if you like.

The Epsom Salt should be giving you diarrhea by now. This should last about four hours.

  • After every bowel movement examine your stool for parasites and gallstones. I've found that the best way to do this is to purchase a screen colander and place it in the toilet. You can then flush the water through it and let the residue be seen.
  • Gallstones can be as tiny as 1/8" and as large as 1/2" inch, and sometimes bigger. They can be green, brown, red, or tan. They will float on top of the water. You may also see some green, chaff-like substance, which would soon join together to make gallstones.
  • Parasites will sink to the bottom of the screen. They can be from almost too tiny to see, up to several inches long. You may also see black string-like things. These are egg sacs of parasites.

Dr. Clark recommends doing a liver cleanse every two weeks for several months and then one every six months. She claims that this is the most beneficial thing you can do for your body. You should also continue zapping parasites until you do not pass any more during the liver cleanses. She says that one should continue doing liver cleanses until you get rid of at least two thousand gallstones. (It's hard to imagine a liver containing that many, but I have gotten rid of about 1450 so far and about two thousand visible parasites.)
